Bekah grew up in the San Antonio area. She attended the Masters College in Los Angeles for her undergraduate work in Print Media (Creative Writing) and a minor in Biblical Studies.  She returned to San Antonio to work for Worldview Academy after spending time abroad at L'Abri in England. She then began traveling the world and in her spare time attended the London School of Economics for an MSc in Global Media (though it was officially the other way around). Love for Redeemer Presbyterian Church, her family, and San Antonio compelled her to move back after her degree was complete and she began volunteering with RUF at Trinity in fall of 2007. She "made it official" in January of 2009, going on staff with RUF.
In her spare time Bekah is on the move. Either running, practicing yoga, or scheming ways to continue traveling the world. Her favorite destination is Kampala, Uganda.
